Greater Noida Hosts Its First Semi-Classical Dance Workshop, Dancers Groove to ‘Qubool’

Greater Noida, October 4: Greater Noida witnessed its first-ever semi-classical dance workshop on Sunday at Austin Studio, Gamma-1, bringing together passionate dancers from across Delhi-NCR.
Organised by Palak Sharma, a trained Kathak dancer and graduate, the workshop attracted participants from Delhi, Gurugram, Badarpur Border, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. The studio was nearly packed, creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere throughout the session.
The highlight of the workshop was a semi-classical choreography on the popular song ‘Qubool’. Although some movements appeared challenging at first, Palak Sharma’s simple and engaging teaching style made the choreography easy to understand and follow. Dancers from different experience levels, including beginners and trained performers, participated enthusiastically and learned the routine with confidence.
The session concluded with group and solo performance showcases, giving participants an opportunity to present what they had learned and showcase their talent. The performances added to the excitement and made the workshop a memorable experience for the participants.
Speaking about the workshop, Palak Sharma said her aim was to take semi-classical dance to a wider audience and create a platform where dancers of different skill levels can learn, connect and perform together.
The workshop received an encouraging response from participants, who appreciated the choreography, teaching style and overall experience. Buoyed by the positive response, Palak Sharma is now planning to organise another semi-classical dance workshop soon.
